◆ Master of Research (MRes) in Animal Behaviour @University of Leicester, UK. In the research project I've joined (N. Hartell Lab 2020), we've analysed cognitive decline in different groups of wild mice under neurophysiological and behavioural aspects. We aimed to test whether treatment with endocannabinoids would reverse age-related changes. ◆ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology @University of Messina, Italy. My dissertation focused on the evolution of hallucinations discussed from several perspectives, particularly in Western culture. Through scientific, ethnophilosophical and sociological approaches we can get a grasp on the reasons why different cultures behave positively or negatively towards altered states of consciousness, which have been deeply affected by medicalisation in our society. |
